Job Summary~ The Head of Commercialization is a key executive leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across the Wealth, Retirement, and International Banking & Payments Division. This role will manage a small team of commercial professionals supporting the Divisional Head of Product and Services (HoPS) while providing strategic leadership for the product launch process, commercial oversight for new and existing businesses, and the divisional thought leadership program. The Head of Commercialization will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, customer success, and sales, to ensure successful commercial outcomes that drive growth and create value for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with product development teams to identify market opportunities and ensure that product roadmaps align with the business's and its customers' needs
  • Develop relationships with key industry influencers and stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry associations
  • Develop and execute a divisional thought leadership program that positions the business unit as a thought leader in the Wealth, Retirement, and International Banking Payments industry
  • Manage a small team of commercial professionals supporting the broader function
  • Lead the product launch process, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market plans, sales enablement materials, and customer success programs
  • Provide commercial oversight for new and existing businesses, including deal structuring, pricing strategies, and driving process efficiencies to accelerate time to close
  • Develop and understand the competitive landscape and industry trends to inform product development and marketing strategies
  • Provide leadership for the product and solution training program, working closely with sales and marketing to ensure customer-facing teams have the knowledge and tools they need to sell effectively
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and joint ventures, that align with the business's strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content marketing and thought leadership programs that support the divisional thought leadership program
Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Experience with Enterprise software and services associated with Wealth Management, Retirement Plan Processing, and Global Banking and Payments is an advantage
  • Sales background and customer experience roles are beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
  • 10+ years of experience in a commercial leadership role, preferably in the Wealth, Retirement, and International Banking Payments industry
