Summary

Dura Software is looking for an experienced Vice President of Finance to lead our finance team and manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong financial background and excellent leadership skills. This role will be heading up the finance team of one of two operating groups within Dura Software and will be responsible for multiple subsidiaries with the expectation of growth through more acquisitions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
• Develop and implement financial plans, policies, and procedures.
• Develop processes to streamline accounting tasks and create efficiencies within the department.
• Collaborate with other departments to support the growth of the business through financial analysis and strategic planning
• Integrate new acquisitions into operating group processes and manage the valuation process to ensure the accuracy of ASC 805.
• Lead the finance team in the areas of accounting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting, tax, and treasury
• Consolidate financial results from multiple subsidiaries to present the financial results for the operating group.
• Assist Dura Software team with completion of annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP including the regular review of contracts for ASC 606.

Qualifications And Requirements

• CPA or Big 4 experience preferred
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Exceptional organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
• Experience with foreign subsidiaries preferred
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Experience with SaasOptics preferred
• Experience with NetSuite required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS Accounting standards
• Experience with ASC 606 at a SaaS company required
• Ability to problem solve
• Experience managing relationships with external auditors
