The VP of Finance & Compliance position earns competitive pay of $76,000.00/ year. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VP OF FINANCE & COMPLIANCE

As a VP of Finance & Compliance, you spend your day reconciling and maintaining general ledger accounts, reviewing revenue and expenditure accounts for Boys and Girls Club of Edinburg funds. Your job is essential, and you assist in payroll functions, maintain the general fund asset system, and track Boys and Girls Club of Edinburg grants. You are constantly on your toes and ready for any new and unexpected challenges that may arise. This can include assisting with grant preparation and gather information for BGCA mini grants. You generally attend oversee and maintain the Boys and Girls Club of Edinburg's fixed asset system. You also assist in completing check requisitions, purchase requisitions, SPO's. You enjoy being helpful and have no problem providing assistance and support to other divisions within the department as needed. The city needs someone like you with skills in operations in finance, and you finding genuine enjoyment in what you do!

Qualifications For a Vp Of Finance & Compliance

• Bachelor Degree
• Must have a current valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety with a satisfactory driving record
• Five (5) years nonprofit experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test administered by the City of Edinburg at the city's expense
• Three (3) years supervisory experience
• Bachelor Degree in Youth Development, Business, Social services or related field preferred
