Vp/Corporate Controller Jobs

Pugh Executive Search has partnered with a corporation located in the DFW area to identify a strategic and tactical Controller to assist the CFO in all Accounting. This hands-on role requires experience managing a large (<100) accounting team consisting of both corporate and operational team members for a multi-entity organization. This role will be responsible for analyzing current accounting processes for a more streamlined, automated close, and ensuring the correct adoption of technical accounting pronouncements including Lease and Revenue Recognition Accounting. Skills with Percentage of Completion accounting will also be advantageous. To be considered for this role, we are looking for the following, without exception:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree specializing in Accounting, CPA required
• A strong working knowledge of Great Plains and must have ERP implementation experience
• Experience with purchase accounting and integration of acquisitions
• Must have corporate level accounting experience from a company with at least $300M+ annual revenue
• A career beginning in Public Accounting is highly preferred.
• Experience in accessing and improving accounting processes and procedures
• Strong experience with Multi-Entity Consolidations and Intercompany Accounting
• Experience scaling F&A organizations for growth
• 15+ years of progressive Accounting and Finance knowledge 8+ years of supervisory experience - must LOVE to mentor and grow your staff
• Driven, self-motivated personality with above-average communication and presentation skills
