About The Team
Work directly with the Head of Banking Strategy, Product and Pricing for FIS’s $6.5B revenue Banking Solutions Business. Broader team owns growth and business strategy, product management, investment strategy, fintech partnerships, M&A strategy, pricing, and go-to-market for the Banking organization.
The Banking Strategy team is comprised of highly talented individuals that have strategic problem solving and analytical skills, combined with a deep understanding of the business. Typical projects have 1-3 Strategy team members, require close collaboration with business and functional partners, and range from 1-4 months in length, depending on complexity and scope. In addition to strategic consulting engagements, this function oversees the divisions investment strategy, and makes recommendations on acquisitions and partnerships.

The ideal candidate will be execution oriented, assertive, and organized with sound business judgment. They will value FIS’ business fundamentals but will not hesitate to challenge traditional practices. They will be passionate about bringing innovation, technology and evolved commercial structures to a wide array of clients in the financial services industry.
The role requires strong analytical, commercial and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced deal environment. The successful candidate will work directly with business leadership, sales, product management, technology, and business operations to ensure the business delivers on top and bottom-line objectives.

What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct business level validation and market testing of new offerings. Report against set milestones and KPIs for all investments
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills - and ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like way, and achieve goals without direct control over resources
- Articulate FIS product vision clearly and concisely translating complex concepts into easily accessible and understood content and visualizations
- Evaluate buy/build/partner scenarios
- Drive the vision and strategic planning process on behalf of the Banking Solutions division. This includes identifying growth opportunities, performing market sizing and competitive assessments, and making recommendations on how to accelerate growth ahead of alternate market providers.
- Act as thought leader on the product strategy and execution; maintain keen awareness of industry landscape and directly inform FIS banking and payments go-to-market efforts
- Develop business cases for new solutions and acquisitions. Build plans in conjunction with the business lines for securing clients and revenue consistent with the group’s financial objectives
- Lead broader team efforts, including recruiting, staffing decisions, and performance management
- Ensure execution of strategic priorities by working with the product management and development organizations to consistently deliver innovative capabilities that delight clients, extends our value, and accelerates growth. This includes partnering across functional areas on the development of roadmaps, solution integration, product rationalization, and pricing strategies, as well as new product launches and go-to-market planning
- Lead a strategy team focused on generating growth ideas and oversee execution of recommendations across lines of business
- Craft and deliver clear and coherent data-driven narratives, to enable senior stakeholder buy-in on key opportunities and recommendations
- Deliver senior executive reporting, including presentations for regular business reviews; monitor OKR performance and guide financial forecasting
