Videographer & Motion Graphic Designer (Specialist - Sr Specialist)

Under direct supervision, the Videographer works with the Creative Manager and the greater MarCom team to support internal clients and assists with capturing and maintaining video and photography assets for various business units that uphold the company’s brand aesthetic for both internal and external stakeholders. The role requires excellent communication and time management with experience pre and post- video production.

Job Duties

Videography:

• Ensure videos align with the brand's style and messaging.
• Edit and post-process videos using video editing software, adding effects, music, and other enhancements as needed.
• Capture high-quality footage and ensure proper framing, lighting, and audio quality.
• Plan, shoot, and edit videos for various purposes, such as marketing campaigns, social media, and internal communications.
• Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
• Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and storyboard video projects.

Motion Graphics:

• Collaborate with the team to develop concepts and storyboards for motion graphic projects.
• Utilize animation and visual effects techniques to enhance the storytelling process.
• Select appropriate fonts, colors, and graphical elements to create cohesive designs.
• Design and create visually appealing and engaging motion graphics for video projects.
• Maintain a library of reusable motion graphic templates and assets.

Photography:

• Organize and maintain a library of high-quality photographs for future use.
• Ensure proper lighting, composition, and framing to create impactful photographs.
• Develop concepts and creative ideas to capture visually appealing images that align with brand standards.
• Edit and retouch photos to enhance their visual appeal and align with brand guidelines.
• Conduct photoshoots for various purposes, including products, people, and events.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate videography, motion design and photography which includes project management experience.
• Requires a high school diploma.
• An associate or undergraduate degree in marketing or communications, and experience in Oil and Gas is preferred
