Motion Graphic Artist Jobs

The Storyhive is a Houston-based video production studio seeking a motion graphics designer who is professional, self-motivated and creative. This individual should be a whiz at After Effects and Cinema 4D. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptualization, storyboarding, graphic design and animation skills. The candidate will be able to work as a member of a creative team or individually, as projects dictate. Applicants should show initiative to prioritize and tackle tasks proactively, often without oversight, and always meet deadlines. The artist must be able to work at a fast pace on projects that vary from 100 percent animation to motion graphics to support/enhance live action projects.

Desired Skills and Experience:

At least five years of professional experience producing high-end creative animations and motion graphics.

Expert knowledge of Adobe CC - After Effects, PhotoShop, Illustrator and Premiere

Proficiency with Cinema 4D and various render engines (Redshift, Octane, etc)

Knowledge of compositing, motion tracking and rotoscoping.

Proficient with motion design, typography, color theory, illustration, photography and layout

Design experience working with rapid conceptualization and delivery times

Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Integrate client feedback and integrate change orders quickly

At least five years of motion graphics experience is required.
