Job Description

The Junior Graphic Designer role will create corporate brand collateral in a variety of media and formats for a global audience. They will combine professionalism and creativity to generate clean, beautiful content that fits uniquely into the ABS brand. This individual is collaborative, flexible, and comfortable between art and functional content.

This role is a hybrid opportunity, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from our Global Headquarters and Mondays and Fridays remote.

What You Will Do:

  • Consult with internal clients, team members, and vendors on creative project needs and develop concepts for multimedia environments.
  • To adhere to production schedules for the completion of projects in a timely manner
  • Working under the direction of the Creative Team Manager to develop concepts and design creative, brand-compliant material for print and digital media, including documents, brochures, ads, presentations, event collateral and signage, infographics, web graphics, and promotional items in support of the marketing and administrative functions of ABS.
  • Maintain brand identity across all marketing touchpoints, both digital and print.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent in Advertising, Graphic Design, Commercial Art, or related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of graphic design experience or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with peers.
  • Organizational skills and an ability to handle simultaneous projects from concept through execution while under tight deadlines.
  • Balance corporate brand standards with creativity.
  • Competency in Microsoft PowerPoint and sound working knowledge of other MS Office programs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and related instructions, as well as the ABS Employee Safety Policy.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports directly to the Creative Team Manager.

Working Conditions:

The work environment will primarily be an air-conditioned office setting requiring the employee to sit for prolonged periods while concentrating on a computer screen. A member of the administrative support staff will assist with various tasks, including filing, talking, and may have to lift between 5 – 15 pounds on occasion.
