We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Treasury and Banking Relations.
Role Overview:
As the Vice President of Treasury and Banking Relations, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding relationships with top-tier financial institutions. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee the strategic management of treasury operations, while fostering and nurturing partnerships with bankers at the highest echelons. Your deep expertise in investment banking, coupled with your exceptional communication and negotiation skills, will be essential to drive the firm's financial objectives forward.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor market and economic conditions to proactively identify opportunities or risks that could impact the firm's financial position.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of treasury and banking professionals, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
- Serve as the main point of contact for banking partners, representing the firm's interests and ensuring effective communication between internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive banking relations strategy that aligns with the firm's financial goals and growth aspirations.
- Lead negotiations for credit facilities, financing arrangements, and other banking services, securing favorable terms and conditions for the firm.
- Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that could impact the firm's banking relationships and treasury strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers at leading financial institutions to ensure optimal access to credit, financing, and banking services.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO to optimize liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and treasury operations to enhance overall financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and risk management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- In-depth understanding of investment banking, financial markets, and treasury best practices.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in investment banking or related financial roles, with a strong focus on treasury management and banking relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and nurturing relationships with senior executives at financial institutions.
