Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $160600 - $228450 / year plus bonus. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview


The Vice President, Regional Commercial Strategy works integrally with the Regional President, focusing on the management and execution of strategic initiatives and new concepts to enhance regional performance, profitability and competitiveness. Helps drive implementation of customer, supplier and operation strategies to achieve regional net profit targets. Helps coordinate with SGWS Corp., Regional President, and local GMs on strategic direction and annual goals.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Digital Capabilities – oversee, drive and execute against Company’s digital platform which includes Proof, DRAM, E-Commerce etc. Work in partnership with Corporate Teams and ensure local execution against company initiative
  • Performance Management and Efficiencies: Compensation/incentive design, development of KPIs, measurement, etc.
  • BI/Analytics/SFA: Sales/marketing tools, reporting, execution tracking, KPIs, mobility, CRM, etc.
  • Customer/Account Modeling and Analysis: Account segmentation, channel strategy, cost-to-serve analytics, ROI, etc.
  • Salesforce Optimization: Route-to-Market design, sales planning/execution, sales force size/coverage, Org. Structures, etc.
  • Serve as the single, regional point-of-contact to coordinate and facilitate corporate initiatives and projects and efforts (e.g., supplier RFPs, enterprise-wide initiatives, etc.)
  • Future growth opportunity & channels – responsible for embedding new ventures working in partnership with Corporate Teams
  • Coordinate with both Sales and Operations to seek operational efficiencies and cost savings (e.g., supplier/SKU optimization, variable service, and delivery levels/fees, etc.)
  • Accountable to support Regional Leadership for program management and execution on regional and local strategic optimization and performance improvement efforts, including but not limited to:

Minimum Qualifications


  • Ten – Fifteen years of relevant consulting, project management, analytical and/or commercial work experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the Wine & Spirits industry is required


Physical Demands


  • Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime and weekends
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to the rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
