Paradise Grills is America's largest outdoor grills and furniture manufacturer. We are looking for an outgoing, high-energy and results-driven Vice President of Operations to join our rapidly growing team.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Vice President of Operations located in Ocoee, FL. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, including production, supply chain, logistics, and quality control. The Vice President of Operations will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience within the manufacturing and/or retail furniture industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CEO, COO and other senior leaders in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.
- Oversee company operations and employee productivity; build a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members thrive and meet organizational outcomes.
- Set requirements and hold the teams accountable for the organization and cleanliness of manufacturing and warehouses.
- Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention within Operations.
- Drive fiscal responsibility and accountability with inventory.
- Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping implement organization-wide goal-setting and annual operating plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field or equal work experience
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or operations, senior management experience a must, executive leadership preferred.
- Experience in the outdoor living industry is a plus
- Fluency in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Master's degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus
- Ability to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues.
- Experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- High level of business acumen including accounting and financial management.
- The ability to travel to our other warehouse in Texas, which could be 2-7 days, multiple times per year.
- Experience in supply chain management and logistics
- High energy, self-motivation, and persistence; sharp business ethics and a competitive and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Experience in quality control and process improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; an ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
