Descriptive Summary
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth for the company. This individual will build and develop existing relationships as well as identify and establish new partnerships. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth for the company. Essential Functions
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Ensure the team is effectively utilizing company resources and tools to drive sales
- Lead sales forecasting efforts and provide regular updates to executive leadership
- Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships with new clients
- Other duties as assigned
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall company goals and objectives
- Continuously analyze and evaluate sales data to identify areas for improvement
Education & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience
- Bachelor's Degree
Skills & Competencies
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with demonstrated success creating and implementing plans in high-growth, dynamic environments
- Excellent managerial, supervisory, and/or leadership skills. Able to develop and motivate others
- Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and effectively handle interpersonal relationships with others
- Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner
- High level organizational skills, time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines
- Strong technology skills and the ability to leverage technology in work processes
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of principles, procedures and best practices in the industry
- Professional-level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate agreement between parties with different perspectives
- Microsoft Office programs experience and Advanced Excel.
- Ability to monitor and manage multiple initiatives concurrently
- Strong understanding of pricing structure of construction trades and bids/contract management
- SAP Experience
