Brief Overview:

Forsyth Barnes are currently working with a rapidly growing CPG Brand who are looking for a VP Growth & Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy that drives D2C customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, while maximizing ROI. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the executive team on a frequent basis across product, design, operations, sales, and customer success.


The brand is looking for an experienced marketing leader who knows how to leverage Brand and Performance Marketing to drive sustainable business growth.


VP Growth & Marketing- Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and develop the Growth Marketing team.
  • Present campaign pitches, performance recaps and learnings to senior leadership.
  • Partner with analytics, brand, creative and merchandising teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that support key business objectives and growth goals.
  • Measure, test and optimize campaign performance, leveraging first-party and third-party data to identify opportunities within the current business and new opportunities for growth.
  • Manage approach to budget, performance forecasting and channel-level planning.
  • Manage the new customer marketing budget, optimizing spend allocation across partner agencies and media channels to meet performance and financial targets.
  • Forecast weekly/monthly performance KPIs and budgets including demand and customer growth.
  • Support the ecommerce businesses and drive brand growth through digital marketing.
  • Drive strategy and execution for all paid media channels including (but not limited to) social, search, display, audio, affiliate, direct mail, and TV.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, E-commerce, Product, Tech, and other functional departments to drive brand awareness while hitting performance metrics and delivering on shared objectives across all channels.

VP Growth & Marketing - Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must have experience owning social media strategy and content calendar for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Expertise in managing all performance marketing channels.
  • Experience working within a scale up DTC Ecommerce business.
  • A strategic, analytical thinker who understands marketing and customer behaviour.
  • Experience managing a team between 5 – 10 people.
