The Golin Health and Virgo Health teams are looking for a Vice President, Growth to join our teams!

We’re looking for a new business strategic partner who will partner with our Golin Health and Virgo Health leadership teams and global new business colleagues across Golin, DXTRA Health and Interpublic Group (IPG) to drive a culture of hunting throughout the organization in pursuit of seismic growth. With the support of our entire senior team, together we will:
- Ensure that Golin Health and Virgo Health rise above the competition in all new business responses, showcasing our services and experiences in crisp, creative and customized ways.
- Support our best-in-class thought leaders as they spread their infinite wisdom, educating and evolving our own staff, and growing our visibility and reputation in the greater healthcare PR and medical communications industries.
- Develop and execute a purposeful pipelining effort, ensuring that we do everything in our power to source new business opportunities and grow our agency.
What does it take to succeed in this role?
- Understanding of the earned, social and paid media

- Ideally, demonstrated experience in and passion for healthcare
- High passion and enthusiasm, a positive spirit, and are able to translate that energy into generating results
- Strategic and creative thinker with ability to drive new business process beyond timeline management, capes and cases, partnering with pitch captains on: interrogation of the brief, staffing of pitch team, development of Win Strategy, strategically approach the brief, ideation on creative ways to stand out beyond the presentation, contribute to structuring of presentation, and slide development
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and client teams at all levels
- Works with urgency, but a calm-under-pressure demeanor
- Superior writing and editing skills that can communicate creatively and in an engaging manner
- Ability to juggle multiple growth efforts with an eye on the details and a focus on the larger picture
- A champion for bold creative driven by strategic insights
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and superior client service skills
- Proven track record in winning new business
- Ideally, 10-12 years’ experience in a client-service business or agency where you’ve played a role in new customer/client acquisition (e.g. advertising, public relations, marketing, digital, legal, consultancy, etc.)
- Proactive and highly motivated; demonstrate the ability and desire to work independently and confidently, but as part of a team
In return, you’ll be trusted with…
- Tracking and coordinating new business pipeline data base, status updates and quarterly analysis.
- Working with larger new business team to maintain up-to-date library of assets, client case studies and talent bios via compelling, easy-to-digest templates.
- Improving proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes.
- Assisting in internal hunting training.
- Writing compelling proposals to present Golin Health and Virgo Health in their best light in first round Request for Information (RFI) drafts
- Showcasing, sharing and educating staff on best-in-class products, cases and industry trends.
- Serving asnew business subject matter expert, leading proposal deadline, organizing larger team in response and managing target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to effectively merchandise best practices.
Salary Range: $125,000-$225,000
Golin has included the base salary or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; market considerations; budgetary considerations; as well as a candidate’s background, relevant experience, and qualifications.
