Ui\Ux Designer Jobs

• Power BIis a must have and is what differentiates this position from just a ux designer. They do not want an engineer, they need a design focus.
• Sisence, domo are also important in this role.

We are looking for a UX generalist with specific strengths in data visualizations/data storytelling, who is comfortable working with complex data and has experience designing for PowerBI. Additional BI tool experience a plus (i.e.SiSence, Domo, Qlik, etc.)

UX Designer requirements and qualifications

•2+ years working as a User Experience Designer or similar role

•Experience in creating solutions utilizing PowerBI and additional BI tools (This is a MUST HAVE. This person will design PowerBI and needs to know more than just working with it.

•Strong written and verbal communication skill

•Experience in creating user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, production assets, and documentation

•Experience in facilitating forms of quantitative and qualitative user research (e.g. usability testing, card sorting, participatory design sessions, etc.)

•BFA/BA/BS degree in Design, Computer Science, or other related field or equivalent experience

•Critical thinker and strong analytical skills

•Team player

•Excellent time-management skills

•Great interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

•Communicate design needs with your team through appropriate documentation, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

•Collaborate on a cross-functional team comprised of product, engineering, and design to deliver a unified, quality software experience

•Support the 84.51 Stratum UX team throughout the process of proposing, wireframing, and implementing UX improvements

•Support relationships with business stakeholders and end users to generate empathy for their needs across your team

•Conduct user research with internal and external users

•Make informed product recommendations that balance the needs of users, business, and technology

•Represent the interests of good design and user needs to your team and stakeholders

•Create actionable readouts that succinctly answer research goals

•Create artifacts in collaboration with UX, Product and Engineering peers that solve users’ problems
