JOB DESCRIPTION
Inspiritus Refugee & Immigrant Services team provides services to refugees, asylees, and immigrants at any point in their journey to guide them on a path from surviving to thriving. The Ukrainian Services Program aims at providing gap services to Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees. The Ukrainian Services Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for identifying clients throughout the entire Inspiritus service area, as well as resources for clients and sponsors beyond the gap services domain. They will work closely with the Ukrainian Services Case Managers, Supervisor, and Administrative Specialist to ensure referrals are delivered to the appropriate case manager, and resources are shared with the case management team. Additionally, the Ukrainian Services Outreach Coordinator will be considered a program expert on the eligibility, overview, and limits of the Ukrainian Services Program, to aid in sharing adequate information with community partners and stakeholders with a goal of client recruitment and sponsor support. The Outreach Coordinator will assist clients exiting the program in accessing extended case management services, both internal and external.
Essential Functions
- Supports case managers in referring clients to services beyond the 90-day service limit.
- Forges mutually respectful partnerships with clients, co-workers, and partners
- Keeps Supervisor and case managers aware of upcoming community events to result in additional support and potential new clients.
- Participates in case closure meetings with clients and case managers to ensure referrals have been navigated properly and clients are aware of resources that would benefit them in the future.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet program needs.
- Develops and navigates strong relationships with community resources for Ukrainian Parolees in each of the four Inspiritus service areas.
- Participates in Inspiritus functions and public relations activities
- Maintains tracking mechanisms for referrals to services outside of the gap service case management realm in coordination with Ukrainian Services Administrative Specialist.
- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
- Provides back-up services for other Ukrainian Services Program Staff and for other Refugee Services staff as appropriate.
- Participates in weekly internal supervision with Ukrainian Services Program Supervisor and provides outreach and recruitment updates and requests for support as needed.
- Participates in programmatic trainings and provides feedback, as necessary for program development.
- Maintains tracking mechanisms for referrals to extended case management services as needed.
- Provides training and insight for case management staff on navigating established resources in each service area.
- Responsible for the recruitment of clients through information sharing and referrals to respective case managers.
- Participates in in-service training and conferences related to the programs
- Maintains personal and professional boundaries in the performance of the job
- Ensures that case managers are aware of resources and interested clients as well as the information necessary to navigate services and communication.
- Assists Ukrainian Services Program Supervisor in completing internal file audits to ensure programmatic compliance in preparation for external auditing procedures.
- Responsible for the relay of program information to potential clients regarding service domain, eligibility, and service limits.
- Assists Ukrainian Services Program Supervisor in the maintenance of Ukrainian Services appointment calendar to ensure that each case manager has relevant information to provide for their clients prior to completing an intake or exit.
- Maintains tracking spreadsheet of interested partners and clients to ensure all information is easily accessible.
- Complies with the various federal, state, or local laws that apply to and regulate their job duties
- Is considered a program expert and serves as a voice to the community to share services that are available through Inspiritus Ukrainian Services Program.
- Performs the above duties at out-posted locations as assigned.
- Participates in roundtable discussions with community members interested in supporting Ukrainian Parolees.

Work Environment
This job operates in a remote office environment. At times, it may be necessary for the Outreach Coordinator to work from an Inspiritus Office or travel to community events. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to talk and hear in person and on the telephone. Required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls: and reach with hands and arms to operate computer and other office equipment. Employee frequently lifts and or moves up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel
Up to 50% for in-person meetings, community events and trainings as necessary.
Required Education and Experience
- Associates degree or Bachelors degree in a social service or business field and minimum of two years of previous direct work experience in resettlement or human services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in public speaking and communication.
- Conviction about the capacity of people to grow and change.
- Must be sensitive to the service populations cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
- Ability to balance the needs of the client, community partners and the support staff.
- Experience working in a culturally diverse environment.
- Excellent computer skills, accurate typing, and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to set limits and maintain the helping role of the practitioner.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Must have the ability to communicate with all persons in a culturally competent manner.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Reads, writes, and speaks a relevant foreign language
- Experience in a community engagement setting preferably within a human services organization
- Experience with human services programs
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
This position may involve driving or traveling to community events.
