Our busy company is looking to hire an experienced Trucking/Construction bookkeeper to assist us in managing all financial transactions, including accounts receivable and payables, general ledger journal entries, and payroll. Our ideal candidate will have relevant knowledge of construction accounting best practices and will be proficient with accounting software. $65,000 - $85,000 yearly

• Control the general ledger, and journal entries for accuracy, and prepare balance sheets and financial reports for review
• Work with the general contractor or project manager and provide detailed financial reporting to ensure costs, timeline, and budget of construction projects are accurately forecasted
• Ensure accurate financial records, contracts, tax reports, annual budgets, and financial statements are up to date
• Perform extensive data entry to ensure all financial data is input into accounting software
• Resolve any invoice issues, and process invoices, checks, and payroll accurately and on-time
• Manage all financial transactions, such as credit card and bank reconciliations, and oversee the accounts payables and receivables process

• Associate’s degree in accounting, or business, or related field is preferred - high school diploma is required
• Exceptional organization, analytical, problem solving, and communications skills are important
• Familiarity with construction accounting concepts, tax strategies, and best practices
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software, such as QuickBooks

• 5+ years experience MINIMUM in Dump Trucking/Construction industry doing bookkeeping and or accounting.
