Advantive is looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join a collaborative and growing
team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, a great communicator, and enjoys
collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents, in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
The Staff Accountant will be an integral flex player (between technical accounting and accounting
integration teams) and will be responsible for assisting with the day to day operations of the
accounting group, including but not limited to performing general ledger accounting,
reconciliations and ad hoc integration projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end procedures for both domestic and foreign entities including journal
entries and variance analysis.
Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations including bank statements, fixed
assets, accruals and prepaid expenses.
Assist external and internal audits.
Support the accounting integration team with ad hoc projects and process improvements
Performs other administrative and operational duties as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus
Years of Public Accounting or a mix of Public Accounting and Industry experience
Demonstrated ownership, problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with
impeccable integrity
Strong technical skills and internal controls background.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple duties and work independently
Flexibility and comfort with continuous change, willingness to take on challenges, and
work in a fast-paced environment
Strong excel skills and passion for new technologies that promote efficiency
Ability to travel to Tampa on a quarterly basis
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with NetSuite
CPA or CMA, or interested in pursuing
Experience with M&A, and Private Equity backed SaaS
