Job Description
The Safety Director is responsible for the overall safety of the company's employees, facilities, and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electric power transmission, utility construction, and utility safety.


Responsibilities Include


  • Enforcing safety rules and regulations
  • Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
  • Investigating accidents and incidents
  • Conducting safety inspections and audits
  • Working with other departments to identify and mitigate safety risks
  • Training employees on safety procedures


Qualifications


  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 7-15 years of experience in electric power transmission, utility construction, or utility safety
