Job Description
Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER in the FLEET SUPPORT TEAM DEPARTMENT, FLEET SUPPORT TEAM LOGISTICS DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Responsibilities You will execute within budget while managing a highly complex production effort. You will communicate effectively orally and in writing. You will garner support of required changes, develop and implement required changes, barrier removal, and risk assessment/mitigation. You will identify and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for the logistics disciplines. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Managing a comprehensive, data-driven performance measurement framework to evaluate the progress of the industrial and logistics operations; Developing logistics and industrial proposals for potential field and depot customers; Implementing new logistics concepts, corrective actions and changes to reflect new requirements, technologies, and improved safety techniques; Evaluating fluctuating resource levels and requirements due to additional or revised technical capabilities, budget changes, production rate changes, and schedule and/or process changes; and Managing ongoing changes to control their impact on quality, schedule, and cost through effective planning strategies.
