Training Programs Manager Jobs

Location: This is a remote position, but you must be in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex surrounding area as there will be times this person will be onsite for special meetings.

Our client seeking an experienced Training Programs Manager to drive the development of their Learning Paths and optimize the utilization of our Learning Management System (LMS). The Training Programs Manager will be responsible for managing their LMS and other learning delivery platforms and providing thought leadership in the areas of adult learning. This role will work with their management and other subject matter experts to analyze requirements for employee training and will use their expertise to facilitate the development and deployment of blended learning programs and training paths. Successful candidates will have a high degree of comfort in managing strategic projects and working with company leaders. Candidates should have an expert understanding of adult learning principles, as well as experience in establishing enterprise curriculum programs and optimizing LMS usability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Learning Technologies, Communications, Business, or related field.

• Five years of experience as a Learning Analyst, Instructional Designer, Learning Programs Manager, or similar roles.

• Two or more years of experience administering or managing Learning Management Systems (LMS).

• Hands-on experience working with learning content management and delivery platforms, such as company intranet, SharePoint, 3rd party eLearning partners, YouTube or Vimeo, etc.

• Experience with using different types of learning media (such as user training guides/documents, promotional flyers, online help, video training courses, infographics, podcasts, social media, short format video, etc.) to create blended learning programs.

• Demonstrated abilities to scope and manage complex training projects; administratively organized and able to develop or use appropriate project tools.

• Excellent English language verbal and written communications skills.

• Strong collaborative and consulting skills; ability to interview and obtain information from subject matter experts.

• Strong facilitation and presentation skills, ability to persuade.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel).

Essential Job Functions:

• Work with company leaders and key stakeholders to establish LMS goals and priorities. Evaluate and adjust to the evolving needs of a growing company.

• Collaborate with business partners on learning program management and delivery ensuring alignment, adoption, and proficiency across the organization.

• Provide design expertise and thought leadership to continuously evolve CED’s LMS system to be a world-class instructional tool that fits CED’s business model. • Explore, recommend, curate, and implement creative approaches to program design and delivery to broaden and enrich the LMS and learning experience for all levels of business.

• Partner with stakeholders to define, develop, and maintain Training Tracks (Learning Paths) with multi-channel, cross-platform, and blended learning experiences.

• Develop and drive effective and innovative learning strategies and content delivery methods.

• Evaluation and optimization of LMS/learning technology platforms, training offerings, architecture, processes, and reporting capabilities.

• Partner with LMS Administrator to implement technical and content architecture enhancements.

• Facilitate reporting needs and relevant analytics to support broader adoption of learning solutions.

• Develop strategies to promote learning programs and use of LMS and other content delivery tools.
