As an Associate Asset Manager, you’ll support the execution of business and operational activities related to a specific asset class.

What is the work?

  • Executes preventive, predictive, and condition-based monitoring programs
  • Develops expertise in a specific asset class (HVAC, refrigeration, electrical)
  • Participates in diagnostic and troubleshooting activities for chronically troubled assets
  • Reviews and manages monthly repair expenses and develops strategies to minimize reactive expense
  • Supports execution of asset capital program
  • Analyzes installation records and service history to support vendor business reviews
  • Leverages defined asset and maintenance provider key performance indicators and dashboards to evaluate and summarize asset and vendor performance for stakeholders
  • Assists in development and evaluation of business cases
  • Maintains asset inventory rosters
What is your background?
  • A related engineering or trade school degree, or relevant work experience
  • 0-2 years in engineering, facilities maintenance, or related fields

Do you have what it takes to be an H‑E‑B Senior Asset Manager?

  • High-level knowledge of installation, operation, and maintenance of a specific asset class
  • Functional knowledge of budgeting, expense tracking, and return on investment calculations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks; attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work complex issues with direction from immediate management
  • Analytical and project management skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
