The opportunity:

If this is you, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Program Manager who will be responsible for the successful execution of recruiting projects, programs and solutions that position Sun Life to attract the best talent and deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
How you will contribute:
Project Management
  • Manages portfolio of short- and long-term projects in alignment with talent acquisition and/or business goals
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including HR, hiring managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met
  • Develops project plans and timeline with key dependencies, deliverables, and milestones
  • Monitors and reports on project progress to leadership, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions
  • Establishes appropriate change management, communication, and training plans for project outcomes.
  • Supports the development and execution of TA strategy
Recruiting Programs
  • Liaises with Marketing & Communications and Employment Brand to align talent acquisition strategies with broader marketing efforts and ensure talent acquisition consultants have resources to widen our influence as an attractive employer across multiple channels
  • Designs, implements, and manages various recruiting programs or campaigns to attract and select diverse, high-quality talent. Collaborates with talent acquisition consultants and managers, hiring managers and HR to understand needs and customize approaches.
  • Oversees US contingent labor program which includes partnering closely with MSP account team on program performance and the review and implementation of any changes to the program to ensure overall effectiveness. Supports business leaders in appropriate program utilization; addresses needs and resolves challenges. Collaborates with Finance on contingent labor annual budget and approvals
  • Partners with program managers globally to identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement solutions in the areas of candidate experience, diversity, sourcing, technology, compliance, operational reporting, internal mobility, recruiting workflows and selection tools. Creates process/program documentation, playbooks, training aids, presentations, and templates to support solutions
  • Coordinates talent acquisition presence at events or conferences that will enhance Sun Life’s brand visibility and engagement with potential candidates
What you will bring with you:
  • Advanced technical and facilitation skills using PowerPoint to build and deliver compelling presentations and project/program status updates to a variety of audiences
  • Strong relationship management skills with an ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of Talent Acquisition or Human Resources processes, practices, and challenges
  • A strong, highly collaborative working style, and a willingness to roll-up sleeves and execute
  • Experience transforming ambiguous problems into clear, structured plans or building programs from the ground up
  • A strategic thinker who can leverage data to form insights, identify root cause, evaluate risks and tradeoffs, influence decisions, and measure success of work
  • Proven project management, organizational and consultative skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Track record of leading and leveraging peers to deliver against project tasks and objectives
  • Workday and Beamery experience strongly preferred
  • Intermediate MS excel experience a plus
  • Curious, inquisitive, and always looking for ways to enhance processes and experiences

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:
  • Central region: $88,700 – 133,200 annually
  • Northern region: $94,900 – 142,400 annually
  • Southern region: $$84,200 – 126,300 annually
If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $80,300 - 120,500 annually
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $94,900 – 142,400 annually.
If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $88,700 – 133,200 annually.
We consider various factors in determining actual pay including your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to salary, this position is eligible for incentive awards based on individual and business performance as well as a broad range of competitive benefits.
