Store Operations Manager, Nyc

Job Summary/Purpose

The Store Operations Manager is responsible for providing support for operational corporate procedures in the assigned area and verifying with constant monitoring their implementation in partnership with the Retail Operations Director and HQ Store Operations team. You will be accountable to ensure the correct handling of goods, care of the product and compliance acting as an ambassador with all the Stock Managers and Stock teams of stores of the assigned area. The Store Operation Manager also coordinates the operating activities according to corporate guidelines and in support of sales, policy/procedures and KPI’s.

Responsibilities

Procedure Implementation

• Ensure cross-functional communication among all departments involved (Retail Operations, Retail Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Event Team, etc.) in the support of stores
• Trains the Store Managers and the Stock Managers in relation to stockroom management procedures and their updates, making sure that they are adopted and in line with the corporate ones
• Guarantees the implementation of all procedures in line with corporate guidelines and with the “Store Operation Manual”
• Ensures with strict monitoring and regular on-site visits that all the procedures are implemented
• Ensures the care and protection of the product according to company guidelines
• Guarantees communication with the Regional/HQ Store Operations structure, especially in the case of exceptions and escalations

Store Services

• Supervises the coordination of the timely resolution activities between IT and stores in case of possible SAP or POS malfunctions
• Handles the store needs with regard to Logistics, Transportation, Administration, Security, Facility Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Supports the implementation and adaptation of new HQ/local retail projects to the relevant areas
• Supervises the preparation of packaging and stationery orders for each boutique
• Follows all the activities needed during the New Store Openings and supports all the involved functions (Retail Merchandising dept., Visual Merchandising dept., etc.)
• Supervises the seasonal order for Fashion and Technical Uniforms to the Headquarters, based on guidelines and local needs
• Maintains contacts and relationships with the external providers
• Guarantees assistance to stores in relation to the interpretation and implementation of all procedures and policies
• Supervises the receiving and management of the Visual Merchandiser Display Objects

Stores Stockrooms

• Definitions of the layout of the stock rooms based on the characteristics of the stores in collaboration with the technical office
• Definition of the Special Areas both in the BOH and in the selling area
• Positioning of goods in warehouses and optimization of spaces for stock both in the BOH and on the selling floor areas (drawers, cabinets) with the aim of supporting the sales and selling ceremony
• Supports Store Managers and Stock Managers in:

Inventory management

• O Ensures the planning, management, and control over the activities linked to stock-taking in the External warehouses
• Ensures the planning, management, and control over all activities linked to End of season stock-taking of finished products and display objects, producing a relevant report in collaboration with the personnel responsible
• Controls the management of the “cycle count”
• Supervises all the activities connected with year-end Stock Takes, providing appropriate reports in conjunction with the functions involved

Report/KPI

• Controls the stocks and KPI Operations and guarantees the sending of reports to the center in regard to transit goods, special stocks, stolen, negative, stock loss, gift monitoring, uniforms stock, repairs, e-commerce

The annual salary range for this position may vary from $120,000 - $140,000, and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The rate of pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
