Job Description

Senior/Development Manager

Hybrid - Houston

Salary + Bonus


JD Ross Energy is representing one of the leading utility scale renewable energy developers & owner/operators in the US. With over 25 projects operational across wind, solar and energy storage projects across the US, they're truly one of the companies in this space that gets things done.


They're currently on the search for a Development Manager in Houston to take control of their utility scale solar and energy storage projects. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of utility scale development experience and will be able to work on a hybrid basis out of their Houston office.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain landowner relations and community engagement
  • Manage subject matter experts and coordinate between teams in the development space within the ERCOT power market
  • Aid in budget, scheduling and progress economic viability of utility scale renewable energy projects
  • Permitting, zoning, title


Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3 years developing utility scale solar/energy storage projects
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Ability to work 3 days a week in the Houston office
