Key Responsibilities
Be the mastermind behind our monthly SIOP Supply Planning process for our Global Product Lines. You'll take charge of translating demand plans and inventory strategies into actionable supply requirements, resulting in a well-coordinated production, inventory, and revenue plan.
Collaborate closely with demand planning and our dedicated supply chain teams to forecast and commit constrained supply. Your expertise will be crucial in bridging the gap between short-term execution and long-term strategic planning (4 to 18+ months).
Love problem-solving? This role is perfect for you! Identify constraints within materials, labor, equipment, and quality/compliance. You'll lead the way in resolving these challenges, ensuring a seamless supply flow.
Drive inventory optimization projects to enhance inventory and Days-on-Hand committed improvements, all while maintaining excellent delivery performance for our valued customers.
Get ready to be a key player in decision-making! Through scenario planning, you'll contribute to critical choices related to lead times, costs, and resource allocation.
Foster strong partnerships with our sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and manufacturing teams. Your insights will guide us in making crucial make vs. buy decisions and ensuring long-term performance success.
Qualifications And Skills
A Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or Engineering will set you up for success.
Bring at least 5 years of progressive experience in materials planning/master scheduling/management roles within a manufacturing environment. Your demonstrated expertise in managing and improving constrained supply plans will make a significant impact.
Strong familiarity with MRP/ERP Systems, and ideally, you have experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
Planning processes like MRP, MPS, and SIOP are your bread and butter.
You thrive in high mix/low volume demand and supply environments.
Tech-savvy? Excellent! We need you to be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Collaboration and communication are your superpowers! You can effectively engage with various levels of the organization and excel both as a team player and an independent contributor.
When it comes to problem-solving and analyzing data, you've got it covered.
Basic knowledge of Lean Production is a plus, and you have a general understanding of Operations/Manufacturing processes.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Desired Skills And Experience
Certifications like APICS, Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma would be a bonus.
Familiarity with advanced planning systems (e.g., IBP, Kinaxis, etc.) is highly valued.
