Sr Program Manager, Business Operations (Us Remote Available)

Role Summary

This role requires the ability to deliver results that contribute to the achievement of our organization's Objectives and Key Results by driving process and project management improvements and efficiencies. The role requires a strong work ethic, a high degree of accountability and a proven record of leading business operations and managing technical projects. The ability to influence business partners at all levels and effect change across the organization is essential. You must enjoy multi-tasking and operating independently and multi-functionally and be agile in learning and mastering new processes quickly. The ideal candidate will work calmly in a fast paced and high-pressure environment, bring order to multiple threads and priorities, maintain a sense of humor and live the mantra - work hard, have fun, make history!

Meet the Team

• The Program Management Team within the SGS organization owns, drives and implements (cross-functional) security related projects and defines, supports and implements consistent business processes.
• Our Splunk Global Security (SGS) organization is led by Splunk’s Chief Information and Security Officer (CISO).
• You will report to the SGS Senior Director of Strategy, Planning, and Operations and have the opportunity to help drive process and project efficiency.
• Our purpose is to deliver a comprehensive set of services, crafted to optimally defend and protect Splunk and its customers.

What you'll get to do

• Support and further improve upon the budget planning and budget management, headcount planning and purchase processes
• Identify, prioritize, define and complete business processes
• Help driving SGS’s Rhythm of the Business (ROB)
• Handle project and process performance by identifying and analyzing operational data and metrics to further improve upon efficiencies

Qualifications

• You should have demonstrated ability post bachelor (8 years+ of experience) or master degree (6 years+ of experience) in a combination of strategy, business operations in a technology company, or premier consulting firm / corporate strategy field with strong exposure to technology
• Excellent analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Able to influence decision makers on a consistent approach and execution for business processes
• Cybersecurity experience preferred
• Experience with budget planning & budget management & headcount planning & purchase processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using a data-driven approach to prioritize and define business processes
• Experience working cross-functionally at all levels of an organization

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $116,000.00 - 159,500.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $104,800.00 - 144,100.00 per year
