Telehealth Veterinarian (Remote, Us)

What you'll do:

• Communicate with clients about pet health and wellness
• You will be responsible for helping build and grow Koala’s TeleHealth service while providing outstanding clinical care to our customers and their pets
• Ensure communication and coordination with clients' primary care veterinarians
• You will report into our Head of Veterinary Services and provide feedback on internal platforms and tools
• Ensure compliance with veterinary procedures, ethics, policies and relevant statutes
• Record actions by documenting and updating forms, reports, and animal records
• The position is intended to be remote, working from your home

What you'll need:

• Have a designated home working space that is quiet and free from disruptions.
• Must have proficient computer skills as this will require interacting with customers and Koala team members remotely through an online platform.
• State Veterinary Board Licensed and must be in good standing
• Have access to high-speed internet and additional back up WiFi via hotspot.
• 1-3+ years of general practice with preventative care, small animal companion care, microchipping
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to describe veterinary processes to drive technology improvements
• Is passionate about helping people and pets with empathy and excellent customer service focus.
• Enjoy working across internal teams, as well as with clients and patients
