Americanflat is seeking an experienced e-commerce marketer to lead our website, acquisition, and lifecycle / CRM efforts. In this newly created role, you will be equipped with a budget to rapidly scale traffic and sales to our Shopify store.
As a Senior e-Commerce Growth Manager, you will develop sophisticated targeting strategies, expand and optimize our media channel mix, oversee lifecycle and CRM programs, and build our analytics toolkit to measure performance. Furthermore, you will lead and grow an internal team across acquisition, lifecycle/retention, and conversion rate optimization, and manage external agencies and consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a compelling website experience with merchandising and design that inspire, drives conversion, and maximizes average order value.
- Develop highly personalized lifecycle marketing and CRM programs for prospects and current customers via email, SMS, referral programs, and other direct channels.
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly reporting that surfaces the right information at the right time and drives visibility, accountability, and action.
- Develop an e-commerce tech stack to ensure we have visibility and insight into the customer journey to take our growth to the next level.
- Set strategic and operational e-commerce plans, including objectives, key results, budgets, forecasts, and testing roadmaps.
- Bring an experimentation mindset, always testing and learning to raise the bar on performance.
- Manage full-funnel e-commerce KPIs, from impressions to conversion rate and retention, to achieve profitable and sustainable growth.
- Build and mentor a team of in-house and outsourced talent to support you to achieve your goals.
- Oversee performance of digital and offline acquisition marketing channels, including paid social, paid search, SEO, affiliates, and more.
Requirements:
- Prior experience growing a digitally-native consumer business from 0 to 1
- Passion for problem-solving - from high-level strategic questions to the nitty gritty
- 5+ years of work experience in e-commerce
- An independent, hands-on, results-driven mentality
- Able to commit to work full-time M-F from 9 am-6 pm EDT
- Exceptional analytical skills and fluency in distilling, structuring, and presenting data
- Prior experience with performance and lifecycle marketing
- Deep domain knowledge in growing Shopify sites, including conversion rate optimization
The ideal candidate must have deep e-commerce experience and relentlessly pursues execution and impact. Must feel comfortable having significant exposure to Americanflat’s leadership team and collaborate with product development, design, and operations teams.
