Job Summary
The Sr. Analyst, External Mfg. Planning is responsible for executing to the S&OP production plan to support Tolling and Contract Mfg inventory requirements. This role will analyze demand vs. supply to ensure surety of supply to internal and external customers while optimizing inventory targets.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Coordinate and lead planning for annual contract manufacturing outage to ensure surety of supply to internal and external customers. This includes cross functional communication between contract manufacturer, demand planning and supply planning.
- Communicate cross functionality on plant status, production constraints and component requirements
- Work closely with the contract manufacturer to ensure the sequencing of campaigns achieves the proper yield and service level.
- Update and analyze weekly Production/Sales/Inventory report to ensure balanced supply vs. demand.
- Manage inventory levels to meet quarterly supply plan and balance inventory mix to prevent aged inventory.
- Act as voice of internal customer to contract manufacturer and logistic
- Manage Made to Inventory (MTI) replenishment, and control inventory to meet inventory targets.
What Matters to SABIC
- Demonstrated ability to use analytical tools to solve business problems
- Proven ability to work with, and communicate to, all levels of the business
- BA/BS degree
- ERP/Planning experience is required; SAP is highly desirable
- Minimum 5 years in materials planning, supply planning, scheduling, and/or manufacturing/engineering experience
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in IBP, APO-SNP desired

Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work Monday-Friday during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
