This position is responsible for completing basic to moderately complex financial processes. This includes preparing accounting entries to properly record business transactions, identifying the need for accrual entries, and supporting that need through reference to authoritative accounting literature, identifying impact of accounting transactions on reported cash flow, reconciling general ledger account balances, and preparing correcting entries identified during reconciliations.

Use knowledge of US GAAP (GAAP), IFRS and Company operations and financial processes to act as an analytical resource within the Controller's organization and the business units which this position supports. All responsibilities to be performed and documented at a level which supports internal control and external audit

objectives. Critical thinking skills are required for identifying issues before a potential problem occurs. Perform analytical tasks independent of direct supervision.

Degree

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree.

The minimun number of years of job related experience required by this job is:

• 5 years.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Special Projects: Perform or assist in special projects, as needed.
• Management Support: Support management reporting and ad-hoc requests related to Shareholder Reporting’s transactions and responsibilities.
• Reporting Activities: Responsibilities include the (i) quarterly preparation of external reporting disclosure support, balance sheet review presentations and other analyses, Audit Committee presentation support and (ii) annual preparation of not-for-profit entity financial statements and disclosures.
• Audit Support: Timely support requests from external or internal auditors, as necessary. These duties often require the coordination with Company personnel and frequent interaction with audit teams.
• Daily/Monthly Activities: Execute day to day accounting responsibilities using knowledge of accounting literature and under limited supervision. Responsibilities include creation and posting transactions, including related and affiliated party transactions, and performance of month-end reconciliations and analysis of accounting activities.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Bilingual — English /Spanish preferred.
• Strong analytical ability.
