Trexin Consulting has an opportunity for a dynamic Sr Agile Business Analyst to join our team and consult at our Healthcare client.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Refine Onshore user stories with onshore product team members, providing KT’s, addressing story gaps and answering questions.
  • Lead the development of functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Support Defect DRAB sessions by representing the theme vertical defects and identified gaps.
  • Work with the Business Capability Owners and IT Product Managers.
  • Refine and create Product Modifications and User Stories in basic language.
  • Advocate for the Business throughout the Agile SDLC: requirements (including acceptance criteria), development, quality assurance, deployment, and post-production.
  • Act as a Solutions Lead to understand business strategy and translate into product requirement.
  • As an individual contributor & coach lead other BAs by example to improved Agile practices and performance.



Key Desired Skills, Experience, & Knowledge:

  • Backlog grooming (story refinement and prioritization)
  • Possess ability to manage workload and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of system architecture and application portfolios
  • Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts and/or processes
  • Lead role in Business Requirements definition and management involving sessions with multiple business stakeholders
  • Business acumen with strong preference to the healthcare industry
  • SDLC, Iterative, Agile, OWF, and /or Scrum development at Scrum-of-Scrum/Program levels
  • Strong skills in leadership and teambuilding, decision making, reasoning, and problem solving.
  • Problem solving and/or analytical thinking
  • Written and verbal communications skills
  • Efficient and effective decomposition of Epics into Stories
  • Working with support to troubleshoot & resolve production incidents
  • Business process analysis and modeling
  • Knowledge of requirements management and/or prototyping (Jira, ALM, RallyDev, Balsamiq, iRise)
  • Business Analyst certification
  • Experience with healthcare provider claims/payments strongly preferred although not required
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 years Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience
