The Member Services - Salesforce Administrator and Business Analyst is a well-rounded technologist with a passions for building innovative business solutions using Salesforce technologies. This role involves a willingness to adapt, learn and grow technical skills as the organization's needs evolve and direction changes to be successful. The Salesforce Administrator and Business Analyst partners with business teams across Member Relations, Government Relations, and Governance & Leader Development to develop best practices and enhancements for Member Services applications (e.g. Salesforce, RMI, MPOL, etc.). This role includes technical project management, system administration, problem solving, business analysis, and management of data quality/integrity.
Salesforce Administration:
- Gather detailed requirements for improvements or changes to the system and implement them
- Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as flows, process builder, approval processes, validation rules, and other features such as engagement plans and levels. Maintain and update existing automated processes.
- Configure, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Salesforce integrations (e.g. MADCAP, Member Marketplace, Risk Margin Insights (RMI)
- Responsible for the Member Relations Salesforce instance with 100+ users
- Plan for upgrades, prepare for seasonal releases, and engage in both short-term and long-term projects
- Perform Salesforce functions including user maintenance, security, customizations, apps, building/modifying report & dashboards, creation of new fields, deploying change sets and other system administration tasks
- Document system changes and customizations made in Salesforce
- Identify, install, and maintain apps from the AppExchange for specific business purposes like event management and emails through Marketing Cloud
Salesforce Super User Group and User Support:
- Assist in training users and grow the Salesforce skillset across Member Relations
- Lead the Salesforce Super User Group on prioritization of enhancements and user acceptance testing of any Salesforce changes; Provide 'Train the trainer' training to Super Users
- Work closely with Rural & Shared Services Director and Training Lead to prioritize and triage the work and backlog
- Be the primary Salesforce business support resource for Member Relations Salesforce users
- Create and maintain documentation on Member Relations Salesforce instance to aid users
- Escalate and collaborate on issues with IT Team and Rural & Shared Services Team
Data Governance:
- Identify and participate in process improvement activities for the Rural and Shared Services Team to improve efficiency and integration of processes/services across the Member Services organization
- Serve as Member Relations Salesforce instance subject matter expert
- Participate on business and IT projects as subject matter expert for Member Services applications and systems, work with business team on defining business requirements, use cases, and test plans and cases as needed based on scope of project
- Participate in governance and use of data across enterprise
- Champion Member Relations Salesforce instance as 'source of truth' for Member data in Land O'Lakes
Education and requirements:
- Create and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Understand and articulate complex processes
- 5 or more years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator - required
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners
- Strong focus on stakeholders and end user needs
- 4-year degree or equivalent work experience - required
- Meet deadlines, prioritize requests, and track details
- Assess the impacts of new requirements on Salesforce and other integrated systems
- Strong computer skills: O365 (Outlook, Work, Excel, OneDrive, Teams)
- Curiosity and interest to learn about new technologies
- Take ownership of problems and see then through to resolution
- Critical evaluate and prioritize information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
Salary is negotiable based on experience: $75,040 to $112,560
