We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Social Media/PR Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in social media management, content creation, and brand promotion. As an intern, you will play a vital role in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and supporting our overall marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

Assist in creating and curating engaging content for our social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Help develop and implement a social media calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.

Monitor social media trends, identify opportunities for engagement, and actively participate in relevant conversations.

Support audience engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Learn to utilize social media analytics tools to track performance and provide insights for improving our social media strategy.

Content Creation:

Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and contribute ideas for blog posts, videos, and graphic designs.

Assist in writing weekly blog posts on topics related to Leaders Lead The Podcast.

Learn to create and edit videos and graphic images to be shared on social media platforms.

Support the marketing team in developing creative and engaging content that aligns with our brand.

Brand Promotion:

Participate in researching and identifying opportunities to showcase our brand through collaborations, partnerships, and influencer outreach.

Assist in researching and engaging with relevant online communities, forums, and groups to promote our brand and drive traffic to our platforms.

Stay updated on industry trends and news to contribute ideas for brand promotion and thought leadership.

Qualifications:

• This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management and public relations within a supportive and collaborative work environment. While this is an unpaid internship, we value your contributions and will provide guidance and mentorship throughout your internship.
• Ability to work well in a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Passion for education, leadership, and personal development.
• Creative mindset and a willingness to contribute fresh ideas.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and a willingness to learn their best practices for engagement and growth.
• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn content creation skills, including writing, video editing, and graphic design.
• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field (recent graduates are also welcome).
