What You Will Do


The Sr Manager, Digital Platforms will work across our brand.com portfolio of sites, to influence the roadmaps, deliver best in class consumer experiences that drive value for our portfolio of brands and optimize processes to improve quality and agility in delivery. S/he will have ownership of the Website Factory (non-D2C websites) program for the US market, defining the measurement framework and overall strategic purpose/valuation of our non-D2C websites. S/he will work closely with stakeholders, both internally, globally and externally, to communicate and maintain alignment of priorities across all teams and serve as the key liaison and influencer to L’Oréal’s global development teams managing the Master (Global Brand) roadmaps, to ensure that US digital product needs and features are anticipated and planned for in all roadmaps.


In addition to owning the strategic innovation roadmap for the US WSF program, this role will work with Division and Brand stakeholders across all websites (D2C and non-D2C) to deliver performance-centered business requirements for all new feature requests. S/he will serve as a champion for prioritizing impactful, data driven capabilities across the portfolio. S/he will provide project oversight and support as needed for large multi-brand features/deliverables and highlight successful, high performing website capabilities for other brands to adopt/implement. S/he will also play a critical role in building strong partnership with ZoneIT, serving as a key prioritization, delivery and communication partner.


This role requires experience in website management, as well as a solution-oriented mindset, the ability to clearly translate business pain points into functional requirements and a high level of comfort working in both a business and technical environment. S/he must be a self-starter who can work well across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role requires strong communication and presentation skills, comfort with analyzing data, and ability to manage competing priorities.


Key Job Accountabilities


  • Ownership of the WSF Program for the US Market/Brands, establishing a local value proposition for our content-based, non-D2C websites
  • Establish a standardized measurement framework for Brand.com KPIs and interpret site health metrics to share insights with the US and Global business teams
  • Serve as advocate for US brand needs in Global forums to ensure our sites are meeting local consumer expectations and work to develop roadmap for brand-agnostic solutions
  • Support the Divisional teams in ensuring a best-in-class user experience across all Brand.com websites, both D2C and non-D2C g
  • Keep brands on track for developments, budgets, timing, etc. in alignment with Global and Zone IT teams
  • Work closely with legal and privacy teams to ensure solutions meet local requirements, share these updates with global team
  • Responsible for understanding the consumer journey, delivering an efficient user experience
  • Partner with Brands and Divisions to define shared priorities in support of established KPIs; validate and consolidate Roadmaps to ensure reusability across Brands
  • Ensure global program guidelines and best practices are followed by brands and Zone IT – localizations, partner management, roadmaps, etc.
  • Partner with Corporate CRM teams to ensure best practices are adopted for data capture and activation across all divisions
  • Accountable for transversal projects and initiatives impacting the websites: third-party integrations, new tools/solutions, accessibility


What We Are Looking For


  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail

  • Proven track record of converting data-driven analytics to gain consumer insights, optimize user experience, and drive conversion
  • Experience in influencing executive leadership, developing presentations, and building business cases
  • Ability to execute in the short term while looking around corners to design for the future
  • Experience in managing and improving performance in SEO, site personalization, site search, dynamic creative and digital product development
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a rigorous timeline.
  • Experience with Google 360 and BrightEdge or Conductor
  • Experience coaching and mentoring others and collaborating globally across functions and geographies
  • Bachelor’s degree and interest in the beauty industry
  • Demonstrated experience with running complex projects across a matrixed organization
  • A positive attitude and passion for building businesses; entrepreneurial drive and a self-starter mindset
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow or similar issue tracking tool
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence others
  • Technical curiosity and rigor with a passion for learning and innovation
  • Experience with Sitecore or another Content Management Platform
  • Experience with Opentext – a plus
  • Expertise in agile software development lifecycle and proven experience in delivering against website performance metrics
