ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Strategy, the Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy Center of Excellence will lead & direct the implementation & dissemination of insights and selling resources for the US commercial organization. The Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy Center of Excellence role involves delivering and presenting reporting and insights to the US Commercial Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership, support, and alignment to develop growth strategies for the field teams to utilize within their retailers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilize advanced Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint to create captivating visualizations
• Work directly with the commercial leadership team on special projects
• Seek continuous improvement and new ideas for delivering insights to the organization
• Curate advanced insight stories from various sources for sales leadership to influence distributors and retailers
• Develop and maintain quality relationships with commercial sales leaders
• Build/refine suite of reports & analyses to support the sales organization
• Partner with cross-functional teams to solve complex business issues and make data-driven decisions
• Lead, develop, and coach two Category Capabilities Managers as direct reports focused on building resources and deriving insights for the Commercial team
• Produce and update training content on the use of shipment, wholesale depletion, retail scan, and retail loyalty data to support internal groups

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years of proven category insights experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry; experience in convenience retail and tobacco/nicotine industry highly preferred
• Experienced analytical skills in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas), Tableau, Salesforce CRM
• Advanced syndicated scan & data analysis experience
• Previous People Management experience is a plus

EDUCATION:

• Category Management Association CPCM/CPSA designation strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree is a plus

SALARY RANGES:

Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a given

geographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time.

$140,000—$210,000 USD

Tier 2 Range:

$129,000—$194,000 USD

Tier 3 Range:

$121,000—$182,000 USD

$110,000—$165,000 USD
