Job Description
The Director of Enterprise Commercial Planning will develop and manage the partnership strategy for R1’s enterprise partnership pursuits. The Director will work cross-functionally to create bespoke engagement models and value propositions for potential health system customers. The Director will be tasked with various project leadership opportunities that require a high-level of cross-collaboration across multiple organization units.


Responsibilities
  • Adjust commercial activities and partnership scoping to improve partnership financial performance
  • Support Enterprise Commercial team onboarding
  • Partner with Finance, Onboarding and Operations teams to determine optimal partnership scope
  • Manage and run prospective client leadership visits to R1 corporate offices including Salt Lake City and international locations
  • Advance sales materials, including presentations, RFP responses, Q&A responses, etc.
  • Onboard R1 participants to enterprise partnership pursuits
  • Develop and manage partnership strategy
  • Manage and improve the steps in the sales process that lead to enterprise partnerships
  • Advance Enterprise Partnership Pursuits Processes
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and advance content to align with bespoke partnerships and stage of the process
  • Support current enterprise partnership pursuits
  • Work with leadership across the organization to continue to advance partnership strategies customized to each prospective client’s unique needs
  • Design and manage enterprise partnership pursuit sales process from initial presentation to contract signature
  • Assess projected versus actual partnership financials


Qualifications


  • Extremely organized with ability to effectively manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Proven leadership and people management skills with ability to foster teamwork and collaborative thinking
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred
  • Impeccable communications skills and ability to create executive-level, commercial-grade presentations to articulate R1’s value prop to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including basic to intermediate Excel and PowerPoint functions
  • 5+ years of account management, client success management, and/or revenue cycle operations consulting experience
  • Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision, exercising discretion and independent/sound judgment, while excelling in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
