The Sr. Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and nurturing an assigned base of existing Frontier business customers within a matrixed sales organization. Using deep customer data insights, the SR. INSIDE SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER will look for opportunities to develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
In addition, the SR. INSIDE SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER will be responsible for running pre-defined sales and relationship “plays” designed to retain customers, renew expiring contracts and actively migrating customers from legacy services to strategic services.
The SR. INSIDE SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER must utilize strong communication skills (oral and written) as this is a work from anywhere role and all customer interactions are virtual. You must be tech savvy and open to learning about new products and solutions. SR. INSIDE SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER must be self-starters who enjoy relationship development and can work under pressure while delivering on a monthly sales quota.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Working in concert with an assigned Customer Account team member, ensure customer’s concerns and issues are promptly addressed leading to a high Net Promoter Score (NPS)
- Skillfully deliver web-based presentations while partnering with our Sales Engineers
- Consistently outperform your monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota
- Maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, & social selling
- Proactively identify and execute on opportunities to sell new and complementary services to existing customers, as well as opportunities to upsell existing services to grow “share of wallet”, either displacing competitive solutions or uncovering unmet needs
- Follows the Frontier Way to Sell sales methodology
- Maintain Total Incremental Billed revenue within prescribed thresholds, and meet key operational targets relating to account maintenance
- Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline, document customer engagement activity, develop account plans and conduct weekly/monthly/quarterly one on one sales meetings with your assigned sales manager
- Manage revenue of customer base, through account management and sales plays, executed over the phone and/or with remote collaboration technologies
- Using well-developed business acumen and customer data, ensure customer’s business needs are being met by Frontier’s solutions
- Sell Frontier business solutions with a consultative approach in a high energy environment by establishing strong relationships with existing contacts, and seek to widen the breadth and depth of key decision maker, influencer, technical and end-user contacts
Account Management: • Minimize churn through proactive contract renewals
- Execute on pre-defined technology migration campaigns
- Work with existing customer support agents to execute customer-requested moves, adds, changes, disconnects (M/A/C/D)
- Contact resources and delegate/engage to owning department & level set customer F/U contact
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in sales or marketing or similar discipline; or equivalent level of work experience (experience in working in new sales organizations is a plus)
- Experience in using a consultative sales methodology
- Ability to successfully interact and build rapport and trust with customers
- Proven record of meeting/exceeding established goals
- Well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet goals
- Business sales or account management experience, either in an outside or inside sales role, preferably at a telecommunications or technology company
Computer and/or Technical Skills:
- Salesforce CRM
- Various Web Conferencing Platforms
- Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
