Senior / Executive Director, Global Head Of People And Culture

The Role:

The Senior Director / Executive Director, Global Head of People and Culture will report to the SVP of Business Development and Operations and oversee and lead the development and execution of HiFiBiO’s talent management strategy and initiatives across all geographies. Your role will be critical in developing and executing strategies that align with the organization’s vision and mission while fostering our SOAR (Supportive, Optimistic, Adaptable, Responsible) culture. Additionally, you will oversee a global team to ensure all policies, programs, and practices comply with local regulations. The role is an on-site position in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure company compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations across geographies
• Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues and policies.
• Develop and manage the HR budget and ensure that all HR initiatives are cost-effective and sustainable.
• Lead the organization’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, ensuring that the organization is creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.
• Develop and implement training programs to foster continual talent growth and compliance with company policies and practices.
• Develop and execute strategies for sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent globally. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify skill gaps, build a talent pipeline, and ensure people are being properly developed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, payroll, and benefits data on both internal SharePoint and HRIS.
• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the global team, ensuring that all policies, programs, and practices align with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement performance management processes that promote employee growth, development, and engagement. Evaluate current processes for areas of improvement.
• Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with industry standards and the organization's budget.

Requirements:

• Experience with HR technology and software, including Human Resource Information Systems (Namely), payroll, and performance management systems.
• B.A. or B.S. degree is required – preferably in human resources, business administration, or a related field; an Advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in HR, talent management, or related field with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is preferred.
