Meet is excited to partner with a multinational biotherapeutics company, pioneering a number of antibody drugs to combat various types of cancer and autoimmune diseases. They have an impressive global footprint and exciting growth on the horizon!
They are looking to bring on an Executive Director, Head of People & Culture to head up the talent strategy for the business and operate across a number of adjacent DNA functions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to lead strategic implementation and wear multiple hats in a growing business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the HR budget and ensure that all HR initiatives are cost-effective and sustainable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, payroll, and benefits data on both internal SharePoint and HRIS.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues and policies.
- Develop and execute strategies for sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent globally. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify skill gaps, build a talent pipeline, and ensure people are being properly developed.
- Ensure company compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations across geographies
- Develop and implement training programs to foster continual talent growth and compliance with company policies and practices.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Lead the organization’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, ensuring that the organization is creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Develop and implement performance management processes that promote employee growth, development, and engagement. Evaluate current processes for areas of improvement.
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with industry standards and the organization's budget.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the global team, ensuring that all policies, programs, and practices align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in HR, talent management, or related field with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Must be working in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or Biotechnology company dedicated to the Life Sciences.
- Experience with HR technology and software, including Human Resource Information Systems (Namely), payroll, and performance management systems.
- B.A. or B.S. degree is required – preferably in human resources, business administration, or a related field; an Advanced degree is preferred.
