Our Newest Opportunity:
The Senior Investment Analyst is responsible for equity research with quantitative screening and fundamental analysis and providing coverage and recommendation for a sizeable list of US stocks, and selected foreign stocks
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete deep, independent fundamental analysis of companies, including assessment of overall company quality (competitive positioning, management, etc.) and financial statement analysis to make investment recommendations, build and maintain detailed company valuation models, as directed by the Senior Portfolio Manager
  • Build relationships with the relevant IR teams, company management, sell side analysts, salespeople, and research associates
  • Perform fundamental research of stocks based on industry analysis, company financials, earnings, management strategy, and price/cost trends
  • Report on topics e.g. general economic and industry specific development and trends
  • Create quantitative screening models based on multi factors based on financial statement analysis, earning forecasts, valuation parameters and risk-adjusted returns of various style and cap sizes of publicly traded US stocks
  • Maintain coverage of assigned companies and industries; staying current will all pertinent developments.
  • Analyze specific assigned companies, and examine specified market sector activity in order to provide information and analysis required in the investment decision-making process
  • Provide coverage and “Buy”, “Hold” and “Sell” recommendation on a meaningful number of US stocks and selected foreign stocks to help make portfolio decisions
  • Conduct industry and company-specific research – performing channel checks and diligence on specific stocks and industries, as necessary
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in investment, finance or related discipline
  • At least 3-years of investment analyst role with fundamental equity research experience
  • CFA charterholder is strongly desired
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • MUST have expert or advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven verbal, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, quantitative / research, and computer skills
  • Ability work in fast pace and adapt to a changing environment with skills to handle multiple priorities
