Senior Accounting Analyst - Beautiful location in Arlington with excellent M&A growth opportunity!


Location - Arlington, VA (In office 3 days a week, 2 home)

Compensation - $90K-$115K Base plus bonus and incentives

Industry - Private Equity/Professional Services/Investment/Consulting


The ideal Senior Accountant/Senior Analyst candidate will have experience supporting the day to day finance/accounting functions and will be organized and approach each issue with an problem-solving, analytical mindset. The candidate will focus on the firm's PE/VC investments, receivables, real estate, and joint ventures,


Main Responsibilities

  • Researching profitability, performance of portfolio and Complete timely month end closings
  • Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Assist with the preparation of 10-K and 10-Q Forms
  • Budgeting/forecasting/variance analysis
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as the Investments, Portfolio Management, and Corporate Finance
  • ERP process improvement (SAP, Netsuite, MS Dynamics)
  • M&A diligence and integration support
  • Work closely with team members to supervise and review financials


Qualifications

  • 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
  • MBA or CPA a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
