Security Analyst (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a Security Analyst to join a premier management consulting firm. The Security Analyst will support local teams by handling client audits and requests for information regarding the organization’s Information Security Management System.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Remote)

This Job Pays: $40 - 45 per hour

** Must be fluent in Spanish and English (read and write)

** Must be able to work EST hours

What You Will Do:

• Complete client security assessment questionnaires and respond to client and business enquiries regarding the organization’s Information Security program.
• Work closely with local teams to provide security assurance support both internally and to external stakeholders.
• Provide support by ensuring documentation is up to date, maintained, and followed.
• Work proactively with cross functional teams to identify areas to improve backend processes to support key security audit domains.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to support client assessments and audits worldwide.

What Gets You The Job:

• Understanding of industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800-53) and related controls.
• Thinks about DevSecOps and looks for opportunities to improve the security of routine Firm processes.
• Must be able to speak and write English and Spanish fluently.
• Ability to review application functionality and architecture to advise and assist project teams on building compensating controls where security requirements cannot be met.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of security concepts (Application, Web and Network security, Identity and Access Management, Security protocols, Cryptography, etc).
• Experience with ServiceNow is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Jira is a nice to have.
• 3+ years relevant technical and security-related experience, ideally in a professional services environment.
• Security industry certifications, CISSP, CISA, CISM etc., nice to have.
• Excellent foundation in overall security standards, security policy creation, and security audits;
• Strong experience in conducting information security risk assessments based on security policies, industry standards, guidelines and best practices, including experience conducting assessments of 3rd parties.
