Senior Information Security Analyst -Nist 800-53(Remote)

Our work depends on an Information Security Analyst to develop policy, procedure and strategy documents in support of the agency’s technology services office. This role entails:

• Independent worker, while the role supports a larger policy writing team, document development is largely individual role
• Role will support standardized agency documentation, such as baseline policies and procedures, in addition to complex strategy documents, such as Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management Strategy
• Demonstrated experience applying 800-53 controls to cybersecurity and IT compliance programs
• Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders contributing content and feedback
• Candidate must have an active public trust clearance
• BS and three years’ experience
• Supporting full document lifecycle from drafting, developing content, collaborating with Agency SMEs, refresh / update of documents, as needed
• Deep familiarity with NIST 800-53 rev 5, cybersecurity framework and NIST special publications
