About The Role

Workday Finance is looking for a versatile and experienced finance leader to join the Business Finance team as Sr. Director, Corporate FP&A. As an integral member of the FP&A organization, you will lead a dedicated team as we continue to build and transform our FP&A capabilities and develop processes as well as analysis to support rapid business growth. We’re looking for someone with Corporate FP&A experience, who is a self-starter, an outstanding communicator, a team-oriented mentor, and someone who can roll up their sleeves in a dynamic fast-paced environment. This is a highly visible role with the CFO and the Finance organization for someone who flourishes with collaboration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide required support to integrate financials of acquired companies.
• Manage a strong team by setting goals and helping people succeed in their careers
• Monitor key business drivers with a good understanding of the overall business model, implement scalable processes and automation, define priorities and deliver data-driven and useful insights that drive decision-making.
• Support Tax, Treasury and other finance groups as well as external auditors with required financial analysis and reporting.
• Provide support and preparation across all Investor Relations and Board of Directors meetings..
• Build and maintain strong, cross-functional relationships.
• Lead Workday’s consolidation of P&L and cash flow forecasts, variance analysis, and all related management and external reporting.
• Leverage Workday HR, Financials and Analytical systems to automate and scale current processes.
• Own forecasting and analysis related to Subscription revenue and other topline metrics.
• Drive monthly/quarterly financial forecast process and reporting cycle.
• Run a robust annual business planning process including developing policies, process, timelines, cadence, tools, and communication.
• Closely work with the Corporate FP&A Systems team on managing and further leveraging capabilities of Adaptive Planning, continuous system and tools automation and process improvements, ongoing maintenance and updates to ensure data integrity.

About You

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8-10 years related experience, including 3 or more years leading and developing high performing teams.
• Experience with SaaS business models.
• Bachelor's degree or MBA required.

Other Qualifications:

• Software and/or internet industry experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, ability to lead processes and initiatives with a cross functional team.
• Strong analytical skills, proven track record to connect the dots, and ability to leverage those skills for predictive insights into the forecasts and processes.
• Demonstrated experience leading change and transformation.
• Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany an ever changing environment.
• Outstanding and demonstrated focus on accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $228,000 - $342,000

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $189,100 - $342,000
