Senior Designer - Remote

Reporting to the Senior Creative Lead in Design, the Senior Designer provides conceptualization and execution of effective, innovative design approaches to enhance the Laboratory’s visibility and advance its status as a global leader in biomedical research. This position is charged with producing high-quality, on-brand materials from initial concept through final delivery. This highly visible position within the organization actively engages with key internal and external clients to further JAX’s business strategies and priorities and assists stakeholders with top-notch deliverables to help drive institutional success. As part of the broader Strategic Communications team, the Senior Designer is key to ensuring visual consistency and standards across all enterprises. It requires independent, creative thinking and a willingness to take calculated creative risks. This position will interact with staff at all levels of the institution including senior management, external partners and constituents. Deliverables will include major institutional publications, physical displays and exhibits, advertisements, presentations, posters, whitepapers, infographics, animation, and digital assets for web and social media.
