BLOCKSPACES (blockspaces.io) is looking for a highly motivated Senior UI/UX Designer for an exciting opportunity for a critical role within our rapidly growing company.

Description

Location: 100% Remote, but must be US based and preference given to Florida residence.

BLOCKSPACES (blockspaces.io) is looking for a highly motivated Senior UI/UX Designer for an exciting opportunity for a critical role within our rapidly growing company. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you'll be working closely with our product and engineering teams to design, build and improve on our core product and implement growth strategies to widen our user base. You will be working as part of a friendly, cross-discipline agile team who help each other solve problems on both server and client side. We seek an innovative problem-solver who is passionate about developing websites and apps, with a focus on mobile-first design and development. Strengths are in creativity, teamwork, and building projects from concept to execution. Our core products are an enterprise-grade, consumer-scale web application and an API service for blockchain integrations that has the ease of a consumer product.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with engineers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation.
  • Motivating design-oriented decisions and standards company-wide.
  • Working with internal team stakeholders to identify and prioritize user needs.
  • Conducting user testing and assimilating customer feedback.
  • Implementing both high-fidelity prototypes and low-fidelity wireframes.
  • Designing and improving the full product life cycle from end-to-end user flows to visual optimizations for specific features.
  • Planning and conducting user research and interviews.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer.
  • Experience with front-end web development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience performing user research, user flow mapping and presenting options to stakeholders.
  • Understanding of color theory, typography, interaction design, motion principles, responsive design. and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience with designing enterprise web applications or API products (e.g. Stripe, Twilio, Plaid, Segment, Algolia, Agora).
  • Keen eye for design improvements and visual detail.A strong portfolio of website designs, web apps, graphic design elements, and logos.
  • Experience collaborating with engineers and other designers.
  • Experience with cryptocurrency and/or specific public (permissionless) and private (permissioned) blockchain and distributed ledger protocols, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Chainlink, Cardano, Hyperledger, or Corda is a major plus.
  • Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe).
