Who you are:
We’re looking for a UX Designer II, AI to collaborate closely with AI scientists, engineering, and product managers teams to effectively solve challenging user experience problems. Use research to evaluate potential solutions related to changes in equipment design, procedures, manpower, personnel, or training. Prepare reports summarizing results or conclusions of human factors engineering, such as testing, investigation, or validation. Design and deliver solutions that aim to optimize a balance between quality and speed for our Domain Experts who monitor, analyze our data feeds, annotate, and edit signals in real-time. Design and evaluate our work systems, using human factors engineering and ergonomic principles to optimize usability, cost, quality, and performance. Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle. Gather insights, explore possibilities, shape the user experience, and follow through to development and release. Make data-driven decisions and advocate for end users in collaboration with other professionals, including engineers, designers, managers, or customers. Develop and implement human performance research, investigation, or analysis protocols. Tie decisions back to research and guide the product strategy from the user’s perspective while keeping business goals and engineering constraints in mind. Work autonomously, take ownership of work, and effectively manage priorities. Uphold high standards for visual and interaction design. Contribute to existing design system. Provide subject matter expertise within assigned projects, and proactively identify and prioritize opportunities that continuously elevate the product experience. May telecommute from any location in the U.S.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field and 2 years related experience.
  • Must also have 12 months of experience with each of the following:
1) Using research to understand existing problems, user workflow inefficiencies, and pain points;
2) Proactively identifying product improvement opportunities based on product evaluation and user feedback;
3) Ideating innovative solutions, revamping legacy product, or creating brand new products or features;
4) Creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes to gather feedback from users and communicate design solutions with cross-functional teams;
5) Managing product design systems and components library; and
6) Using creative tools such as Figma, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Zeplin, Miro, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office suite.
