Senior Associate / Vice President

A financial services company located in Manhattan is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join their staff as their new Senior Associate / Vice President. In this role, the Senior Associate / Vice President will contribute to crafting of investment strategy and platform development projects, with a specific focus on capital deployment.

Responsibilities

The Senior Associate / Vice President will:

• Lead internal closing process
• Present investment proposals and supporting facts to the private equity team and Investment Committee
• Manage and review the work of senior associates and associates
• Contribute to cross-platform projects
• Play a lead role in managing team underwriting processes
• Actively contribute to team sourcing strategy, with focus on increasing deployment into traditional limited partnership secondary transactions from intermediated and non-intermediated channels
• Oversee and review reports, schedules, and internal presentation materials
• Participate in managing third parties, including lawyers, diligence resources, advisors, and syndicate partners, to generate and negotiate transaction legal documents
• Support dedicated portfolio management team members with deal updates and data
• Build and maintain relationships with secondary advisory teams to consistently generate attractive investment opportunities for various investment vehicles
• Participate in managing underwriting team for semi-annual reforecast process

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated financial analysis, written, and presentation skills
• Desire to work in dynamic, entrepreneurial organization
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of prior private equity advisory or investment experience
