SALES FORCE ADMINISTRATOR/APPLICATION SYSTEMS MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY:
Directs and manages the application of Salesforce and other operating management systems throughout URM; responsible for managing support staff, liaising with other departments to ascertain their operational system requirements, and developing solutions that are aligned with URM's strategic plan in an effective and cost-efficient manner.

Salesforce Administration
SALES FORCE ADMINISTRATOR/APPLICATION SYSTEMS MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Implement and manage integrations of applications such as Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Engagement (Pardot), CRM Analytics (Tableau), Plauti (deduping), Click and Pledge, Classy, iWave, OneCause, Docusign, Conga, etc.
  • Train Salesforce users, monitoring and proactively improving user adoption.
  • Security and data management including security reviews, release updates, health check, optimizer, backup and recovery.
  • Create and maintain a platform roadmap and defining priorities.
  • Ability to identify organizational objectives and processes that would benefit from Salesforce integrations through the organization, but not limited to Philanthropy, Marketing and Operations.
  • Platform configuration changes including workflows rules and development, fields, page layouts, record types, and custom settings.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards.
  • User Administration including the management of organizational wide defaults and permissions as well as role hierarchies.
Application Systems Management
  • Support the use and analysis of data throughout URM including but not limited to the development of data warehouses/lakes; data aggregation, and KPI reports/dashboards.
  • Oversee all operational application systems including, but not limited to Mission Tracker (client services system), Community Brands/MIP (finance and accounting) ThriftTrac (POS system) HRIS and inventory management.
  • Security and data management including security reviews, release updates, health check, optimizer, backup and recovery.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the application of technology in line with URM's strategic plan.
  • Provide support and training of users, monitoring and proactively improving adoption.
  • Ensure the maintenance of current projects and technology systems.
General

  • Conduct other tasks and projects assigned by Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

  • Prepare financial budgets and KPIs reports assessing the overall performance of software applications throughout URM in a cost-effective manner.

PM20Requirements
SALES FORCE ADMINISTRATOR/APPLICATION SYSTEMS MANAGER EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURES:
  • Minimum of 3-7 years' experience as a Salesforce Administrator (in a non-profit environment using NPSP is definite plus)
  • Minimum of five years' experience overseeing projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or related field (graduate degree a plus).
  • Understanding of the business impact of different solutions and ability to assess impact and communicate the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, timelines, costs, and risks.
  • Experience implementing solutions and management including, but not limited to Salesforce, client services systems (Mission Tracker), ERP systems (Community Brands/MIP), POS Systems (ThriftTrac), HRIS, inventory management in a multi-site environment.
  • Proof of continued education, such as software certifications.
Sales Force Administrator/Application Systems Manager Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and software applications and management systems.
  • Sound and up to date understanding of various software applications, system integrations, system migrations, data structure and storage (SQL a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills within the department and cross organizationally.
  • Great project management skills and experience.
  • Expertise in data governance and security.
  • Ability to explain highly technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Self-sufficient, with proficient problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
